My team has been trying to locate some various sponsorship offers and I decided to get creative and try something a little different. I have set up a website www.sponsorourteam.swingsoftball.com and sell advertising squares for various businesses or team sites. Businesses can place an image(ex: company logo or picture) and add a link to the image directing visitors to their site. Teams can purchase squares and direct the link to their team site and make it kind of like a team capsule. Since the object is for the site to be live for years, it would be neat for teams to come back a few years down the road and look at it. As an incentive for individual teams to purchase squares I will give a free website similiar to ours www.swingsoftball.com for any team that purchases a minimum of 4 squares you will just have to pay for your hosting which runs as little as $10 per month. The squares are only $25 each and we can provide sponsorship forms for anyone looking to claim the sponsorship on their taxes. I got the idea after looking at themilliondollarhomepage.com and seeing the success he had with his site. Only difference is our squares are larger and much cheaper. If anyone is looking to help a team out or send a little traffic to their site we would greatly appreciate any help that can be given. Once we get a few more links added and more traffic we are going to look into various search engine deals to try to drive even more traffic to the site.
